INVESTIGATION INTO TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA COULD EXPLODE THIS WEEK
President Trump and his staff are bracing for the first public statements by special prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is investigating possible collusion between Trump’s 2016 election campaign and Moscow.
It’s even possible that indictments could be announced as early as today.
Trump unleashed a Tweet-storm last night in response to the news. The Guardian reports that, “Trump, in a series of tweets on Sunday referencing what he called ‘phony Trump/Russia ‘collusion’ which doesn’t exist’, accused Democrats of a ‘witch hunt’ and ‘evil politics’, before adding that Republicans were ‘fighting back like never before’.

STANFORD WILL STUDY BRAIN OF VEGAS SHOOTER
According to the Associated Press, “Stephen Paddock’s brain is being sent to Stanford University for a months-long examination after a visual inspection during an autopsy found no abnormalities, Las Vegas authorities said.”
The work by Stanford scientists and doctors is the latest effort to try to uncover some kind of motive in the slaughter of 58 people and the wounding of hundreds more by the 64-year-old.
The investigation will take more than a month, but many experts don’t expect any new revelations to come from the Stanford work.

YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY SETS RECORD FOR MOST PEOPLE DRESSED IN PENGUIN COSTUMES
According to the Daily Mail, a total of 972 people dressed up in penguin costumes at Youngstown State University in Ohio on Saturday, setting a world record. The school, whose nickname is the Penguins, smashed the previous record of 642 people in penguin costumes.
The dress-up was part of the school’s 50th anniversary celebration and while they were hoping for 1,000 people to show up in costume, they still did a fine job. All that remains is to have the Guinness Book of World Records verify the feat.
